Almost, have the exact same car, and it did not come with a factory alarm.
So i found an aftermarket CanBus alarm. very easy to install.
- Connect hood switch
- Connect horn
- Feed wires into cabin.
- Connect LED (glass sensor built in)
- Connect power +/- to alarm box.
- Connect canbus wires to alarm box (2 twisted wires, can be found everywhere in the car)
- Program the alarm via PC and USB cable (it needs to now the make and model of the car)
The alarm senses:
- Doors, hood, boot, glass breakage og tilt (tilt sensor = extra accessory)
And the best thing, itīs operated via factory/car remote.
Never had one single false alert!
The canbus alarm in question is a DEFA DVS 90.
I donīt if itīs only available in scandinavia, but there are a lot of simular canbus alarm system out there.
