My Ride: 2004 bmw 525i
How would I go about figuring this out, do I purchase a new one, is there something I should be looking for and where is the egs located?

I don't know what's wrong unless you read the codes and post them. You can't start replacing things due to messages that's telling you something is wrong or you'll go broke buying parts you don't need. Get a BMW specific code reader and read the codes.

My Ride: 2004 bmw 525i
I had the codes checked I was getting low injector circuit codes for all 4 injector and something to do with the speed sensor, unfortunately my friend erased all the codes by accident and for whatever reason they aren’t popping back up, would you know how to post all codes?
