Other threads refer to symtoms; esp. when engine cold and up slight incline.
Pinpointed problem @ 20mph, 1000 rpm. Level, incline, warm or cold; always occurs.
SA says tranny doesn't know what to do, another 545i has similar problem. DUH!
Recent progman update lessened problem where the 20mph/1000rpm combination doesn't occur as often, but when it does = GURGLE & engine straining.
Any suggestions on cause and fix.
Have a steptronic.
Thanks for any ideas.

Can I do this or is this for dealer?
Sounds like for the dealer, 'cause I don't know what that is except it was "stolen" out of a member's car recently.
I've done the 30 sec. reset. Helped shifting but can't get rid of "gurgle".
Thanks for suggestion; I'll mention it when I drop for service later this month.
