Hey guys, im thinking about pulling the trigger on some new rims.. i have a 08 550i Msport with 19 inch style 172's with 15mm spacers in the rear right now.. but im thinking of upgrading to 20 inch rims... front set are going to be 20x 9.5 and the rear is set is going to be 20x 10. Both front and back are ET24....Anyone have experience with tires and offsets and care to give me some advice on tire size options? Thanks

I have 295/25/20 in the rear with the sport suspension. If I had a chance to drive it first, I think I would go with the 19. They are thin, not unbearable but with passengers my wheels rub the wheel well liner.

Do 285 x 30 x 19s work ok on the 2009 550i Sport Pack. Bimmer? Thinking of putting Michelin Pilots on rear since my Conti Contact2 are worn to scrub bar. Contact 2 245s up front have plenty of thread. Also can 15mm spaces be used with 285s Thanks.

it will really depend on the offsets of the wheels if you can/need a spacer, and what tire size you would be able to run.
