Hey guys, I'm planning to buy a 2 amp charger for my 525xi since I won't be around for couple weeks but remember it's still winter time. Is there any model you recommend or you've used before?

Ctek 56-864 (also called the Ctek MUS 4.3) or the older version, the Ctek 3300. Costs just under $60 from a lot of sources, including Amazon.

I love my Deltran Battery Tender Plus!: Battery Tender 021-0128 Battery Tender Plus 12V Battery Charger : Amazon.com : Automotive. Nearly 1000 reviews and 5 Stars on Amazon for $45. BMW sells a rebadged version of the exact same charger for their motorcycles at nearly triple the price! It's only 1.25A, but works perfectly on my 535i and is safe for all battery types, including gel cell! The beauty is in the simplicity. Plug it in and forget it, as it will maintain your battery without overcharging, and has a blinking/solid green/red status led.
