Default 1st BMW: 2008 or 2010 528i

Yep, this is my first post (so be gentle), I've been using the search function, reading, educating myself. Considering getting our first BMW. Trying to decide between an 08 & 10 528i below, driven both and done my own inspection. Plan to take one to an Indy for a ($100) inspection (FT Auto in Garland, TX). From what I've read, mechanically there were no major changes between 08 and 10. The 10 does have the "improved", (cough, cough) iDrive. Trying to decide if 2 years and 11k miles are worth $1000. Or just pick the one we like best, (my wife likes the Deep Sea Blue).

Both have Sports Suspension (S226A), Dynamic Drive (S229) with Spoke 246 wheels. Tires are about equal (one have Contins', other Bridgestones).

2008, 119k $7500, Deep Sea Blue / Grey leather, (WBANU53588C112177). Exterior and interior 8 of 10. Better optioned, Xenon, Adaptive light, Park Dist Ctrl, Through-loading, Comfort Access, 6 CD provision, Rolling Rear Sun Visor, Steering Wheel Heater, clean CarFax & AutoChecks, little service history.

2010, 108k, $8500, Titanium Silver / Black WBANU5C50AC442658: Exterior 7 of 10. Interior 8 of 10. Hi-Def Radio (S653A) is the only option is has that the 08 doesn't. A little better service history, CarFax & AutoCheck have two damage cases. 1st case was rear damage in Sep 2010. Spare tire area is slightly "buckled". My underneath inspection did not show any indication of any frame damage. Trunk was dry, no "wet" odors, even rear tire wear, so I'm not too worried. The other was hail damage in Jun 2016.

(The 08 had been sitting for a while and needed a jump to start. I did hear the ticking noise, which went away during my test drive).
