I just jot my first Bimmer.
I must admit that I have been getting up early and going to the garage and staring at her.
Is that wrong?
What about radar detectors?
What should I do?

Congratulations!
I'm still stuck staring at my catalog for hours since my car is still on order....
(not even in production yet....? :'( )
I know once I get it I'll be doing the same though?
so carry on!
Enjoy!

I just checked and my vehicle status has changed to "Scheduled for Production"
![Big Grin](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/biggrin.gif)
I guess that means that they'll be working on building my car any minute now right?

Yep. No more changes, the car will be built in the next couple of days.

The biggest question in my mind was the SMG that I opted for (never drove it but I originally intended to go with the manual trans), but as the days go by I feel confident that I chose the best transmission; especially when I read all the posts regarding it in this forum!

i have done 32k miles since may 2004 when i picked mine up of which i guess 3000 were totally pointless "i know i'll go the long way home" miles.. i also learned, thanks to a cr4p Jaguar, :'( , not to stray to non Bm cars or my own use..
so once they have you hooked your in deep !
Enjoy your ride !

I think that says a lot about the car.
