Can someone please confirm that the only tire sizes for wheels that are 19X8.5 front and 19x10 rear that I can fit are 245/35/19 fronts and 275/30/19 rears?
Any chance of going wider in the rears (ie 285/30/19) without rubbing issues?
Thanks in advance.

Offset is the other issue...

275/30's will fit a 10" rim (good for between 9" and 10" looking at the spec's for several brands).
I noticed that Tirerack has Potensa S-03 Pole Position's in 285/30-19 on closeout for $216 each. Don't know if they would rub with the offset you are getting, but that's a good price. They don't have the 245/35-19's to match anymore (but you probably could find them somewhere else).

275/30/19 is a standard tire size for the e60 and fits on a rear with offset 32 without rubbing. I'm not sure how much more room there is but 285 is only adding 5mm closer to the fender. There are users here with 285s, though some reported rubbing. I think they may have other factors such as 20inch rims or lowering springs, though.
