19 Tyre question"
I am thinking about replacing the wheels on my car, it is currently fitted with the standard 18" m sport alloys with run flat tyres, the run flats are only a couple of thousand miles away from replacement, I am thinking of fitting the car with the 19" mixed spoke alloys (172?) I prefer the look of these alloys and I have offered a set of genuine rims with the fronts being 8.5j and the rears being 9.5j. I have been advised to fit a 35 profile to the front and a 30 profile to the back is this correct?I'm aware that the tyre has to be wider for the rear to suit the 9.5j but not sure about the profile. I want to get this right as I've seen an E60 with the same wheels but with the same width wheels and tyres on front as the rear and it did not look right.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Rear 285 will fit OK and give a better stance but the only concern will be clearance w/ aggressive rear wheel offset but I think style 172 will probably OK.
