Ask yourself if you want a more standard, OEM 550i Sport look (172) or something different while still getting a sweet OEM rim like the 166 or 167? Maybe that will help you decide..or not.

My Ride: Stock '08 550i with the M5 aerodynamic OEM package
I just took delivery of a 2008 white 550 that came with 172's. I wrestled back and forth with the idea of forking out some cash to get some 167's or not but went ahead and did it. That means that I have a brand new set of take-ff 172's available with only 200 miles on them if you decide to go that route. Otherwise, I might just keep them and swap out for a change every know and then.
Best of luck on your decision!
