Sorry if it's already been discussed, searched the threads and can't seem to find the answer.

Will the staggered 166 rims fit on a non-sport 545?

What else do I need to buy (spacers, new wheel housing because they won't fit )

I read through the thread below, so am I correct in assuming most people
are going with Front 245/35-19" and Rear 275/30-19 tires?
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=54583&hl=

This is the first time I've put different rims on my ride but is there anything
else I need to worry about going from stock 116 17" wheels to the 19" wheels?

Been reading the board for months and have to say there is a ton of helpful information
on here compared to other boards.

The only difference between sport and non-sport is the tire size, wheel size, staggered setup and ofcourse the suspension. I believe this has been done. I am by no means a wheel authority and I am sure some of the wheel experts on this site will chime in, but I am sure they will fit. You are reffering to the OEM 166's correct? I would go with the M6 Offeset for the OEM 166 M5 Rims. I believe that is what member IceyTys did on his car. His car however had the sport package. Not that it matters. Hope this helps.

Should have no problems fitting. Members here tend to order the M6 rear offsets (ET17) vs. the M5 rear offsets (ET28). If you order the 166 wheels with the M6 offsets, you shold not need spacers. The M6 rear offsets push the wheels are far enough already. If you go with the M5 166 offsets you may or may not want to put spacers on to push the wheels out some (which is already don by going with the the M6 offset, difference is 11mm). As far as tires size goes, that is the reccommended size....GL

+1 for the M6 offset. I mean there's no price difference between the two and if youre considering getting spacers why waste the extra $100 buying spacers? The main difference is you'll have to wait for the wheels to come from Germany as they are not stocked in the US. I got mine from Garry and it took 20 days.

The only difference between the sport and non-sport besides parts is the geometery of the suspension. Basically you sit up higher and maybe a little less wide but not by much, then a sport version, so fitment is actually less of an issue for you. Im actually dropped a 1/2 lower then sport and I dont have any rubbing issues.

Ok, thanks for all the advice.

One thing, I'm totally lost with some of the specs.
Geneatals, are you saying for the front to order the M5 spec 166's and the rear order the M6 166's?
Don't want to screw this up and wait 20 days to find out I ordered the wrong set for the front .

If youre ordering from Garry at Newport he knows exactly what you need, just tell him you want the M166 wheels with the M6 rear offset, only the rears are different, the front are the same.

Offsets

M5 Front ET 12 Rear ET 28
M6 Front ET 12 Rear ET 17

Go with the M6 offsets, the rears will fill the wheel well more and you won't need the spacers....tires size you stated is still good to go with the M6 offsets...GL, as stated before, Gary from newport BMW can get these for a good price also...think i remember reading $1495...
