I am back, i took a few tylenols to calm down and making sure i was not daydreaming. DO you mean a G35 beated a 530? Okay...maybe a 525 (still would upset me) but a 530?

Should I go back and take some tylenol or should I see a racing therapist ?

On Highway 15 to "Lost Wages", NV, I had my 2001 Lexus GS 300 up to 125 MPH and had my 2004 545 up to 137. The main difference between the two was the 'feel'. In the Lexus, I got up to 100 without any problem but when i wanted to give it a go and kick it up a notch, it took a while to get the acceleration. The 545 was more responsive and got up to higher speeds without any hesitation.

Handling in the 545 was as expected. The Lexus is more luxurious and smoother and but has less feel. At those speeds i prefer the feel over luxury.

I was still suprised how much response was left in the car at those speeds. When you step on the accelarator going from 100-125, it was much quicker in the 545. Then again it is $25,000 more!.

Amigo, mine is 530i so definately i'll lose to him. G35 is able to go 5.5s in 0-60.

If you're racing with a lot of S curves, G35 will lose big time.

The 5.5s in 0-60mph doesn't mean anything.
Just one example:
Compare the speed of the killerwhale (the largest and fastest dolphin) and the sea turtle... The killerwhale beats the seaturtle in acceleration, but the seaturtle wins any race against the killerwhale, because it can hold it's speed much longer than the killerwhale...
On a regular street you don't drive in a straight line like you do on track, so what do I need the 0-60 time for? No street is like that. The G35 maybe beats you at the beginning, but at the end you win!

I took my car to Las Vegas from California over the week.
I must admit, I never enjoy the trip as much as I was in my car. I ride was so smooth, silent and quiet. I crack this baby up to 135mph and yet I don?t felt any resistance from the car at all. This car is unbelievable.?

What is the highest mph has any of you cranked it up to??

That's nice! In many places they only show "over speed" and not actual readings when You drive more than 20km / 15mls too fast.

Maybe there WAS police waiting?
