My tuppance worth on previous cars:
Lotus Elise - 120mph (hopeless)
SLK 320 - 140mph (mit roof down)
E46 320d - 140-1mph (downhill, current wheels until the 525d)
Mini clubman - 86mph
Note: All as speedo inicated, however 99mph in elise verified by thames valley police on M25
, all others on unrestricted / private roads

I never go over 100 in the UK. Too many camera about. Luckily Germany is not so far to drive to.
Co-ordination or not, I don't think photos of the dash are a smart idea at 150 MPH. At that speed a lot can happen in the space of one photo.

My 1998 Jeep (110mph-limited)
My 2000 camaro SS (180mph-with a lot more in her)
My 2004 545i (153mph- done it atleast 6 times)
Once I get on a real track I will shoot for 200mph in my Camaro SS (790rwhp pump gas)

I took my car to Las Vegas from California over the week.
I must admit, I never enjoy the trip as much as I was in my car. I ride was so smooth, silent and quiet. I crack this baby up to 135mph and yet I don?t felt any resistance from the car at all. This car is unbelievable.?
