I have ordered 530xi but I don't like stock wheels (neither 17" nor 18" variety). I like 124 style wheels, but they do not fit 530xi. However, I found that there are two styles

530xi 124 style wheels, part number 36116767541, offset ET43.
530xi 124 style

And 530i 124 style, with different part number and offset.
530i 124 style wheels

So how do I get ones that fit 530xi? Dealer keeps saying 124 won't work with 530xi.

It's been done by another member here rhnorb, as your finding Style 124 wheel p/n 36116767541 will fit 530xi model.

Are you trying to go staggered? I think the problem is with the wider rim on the rears...

I think xi model Style 124 also (maybe even the only) available in staggered setup for the front 8Jx18-ET43 (p/n 36116767541) & rear 9Jx18-ET55 (p/n 36116767542) but the xi model seems to have a 23mm bigger handicap offset probably due to something w/ the xDrive AWD setup that add a bit more to the wheel hub.

das one of our e60.net Admin here using the regular Style 124 staggered setup on his 530xi w/o problem.

Cool! I'm probably thinking of the E61 where you can't (officially) get the staggered setup...

I have a friend that ordered and installed style 124 rims from the dealer on his 530xi. I dont know what sizes were ordered, but I must say they just dont look right. Both front and rear stick out in a bad way.

No, I think it is going to be same size front and rear.

Guys - you can get staggered OEM 124's for the xi. The front offset is ET43 and the rear is ET55. Check out www.realoem.com for the part numbers. you can even compare the standard 124 offsets to the xi 124 offsets.

chances are, your buddy that got the 124's from his dealer for his xi got the wrong ones. i'm sure he got the offset for the standard and not the xi.
