My Ride: E60 530d Sport - Carbon Black, Black Dakota Leather, Media Pack (satnav, bluetooth, CD changer), heated font seats, through load
Default

I have some friends with Porsche 928s. 1/4 mile times of around 14.5-15 seconds. The E60 is similar weight, so I'm thinking a tuned 530d or 535d would give them a fright.

6 cyl diesel beating a V8 petrol. I'd love to see that.

Just wondering what a standard E60 will do on the 1/4.

The best I got using my G-Timer was 13.6 sec. @ 108. The trap speed seemed high but who knows. Not the most accurate device but also not bad either (beats the "butt-dyno")

0-60 times were consistently in the 5.3 to 5.5 range.

This is with a 545i SMG.

I hope it helps.

That is in line with computer dynos and gives me an idea also what kind of times I should get.

13.6s is VERY impressive - that's in E46 M3 territory
