0W-40 Castrol Edge on Ridiculous Sale @Autozone!!

0W-40 Castrol Edge on Ridiculous Sale @Autozone!!
Hey,
I had read about M1 0W-40 no longer being approved by BMW and folks were suggesting and/or switching to Castrol Edge 0W-40 (black jug, full synthetic, with BMW approved on the back) as a good/better or at least equal replacement.
If so, I just happened to look in the oil section of Autozone and it was on "clearance" sale for $10!!! I just thought it was strange but did go ahead and grab the last two on the shelf. Not sure why it is being cleared. I previously bought my M1 at WMart and have no idea what the price is there.
If it is a good replacement, I plan to stop by the other store in the neighborhood next week and grab at least two more...I don't mind stocking up but don't want to overstock.

Great price. My local Walmarts have started carrying the 5qt jugs for $23.xx if you buy on-line and pick up in the store. Or $25.xx if you just stop in and grab it off the shelf.

Pennzoil 5W-40 Euro can be had for similar price to M1 or Castrol if you are patient for sales at the auto chains. Nice find on your Castrol.

NOOOO!! My apologies...I don't believe ppl are getting what I'm saying...it is the 5Qt Jug!!!!!
It is normally $36.99 @Autozone!!
I went to the other store and claimed the other two on that shelf. So I'm set for a year or two of oil changes. Not sure why it's being cleared though...
