Default '08 550i..sensitive about not being driven

After getting my 550i two weeks, it has been driven basically everyday up until two days ago. It sat for two days without being turned on and when I did, it was obvious that it needed to be driven. Other 550i owners, is your vehicle sensitive to not being driven?

What do you mean by "obvious"? Hard Start?, Clock reset? ecs. It's most likely your battery needs to be on a tender or you are in need of a new Battery. If you can offer up more info im sure someone will give you the correct answer. Congrats on the 550i

Sorry for the vagueness. It wasn't a hard start. I wouldn't exactly call it a rough start but you could feel the vibrations of the engine; they were more apparent than usual. I gave it a good drive though because it seemed like it just needs to driven hard every once in awhile.

i dunno man. my car sat all winter long. made an effort to start it every now and then and idle it up to temperature but the only stuff i ran in to was it almost didn't crank over after not starting it for two months and a belt squeak popped up. the belt squeak went away after a few minutes though. since then i've probably put 500 miles on the car and it still runs like a charm.

After it warmed up, it ran perfectly. It just seems that it likes to be driven...just gives me an excuse to have to drive it

An E60 is like a woman. If you ignore it for a day or two, it will treat you bad.

That's weird. I'm usually the one that gets a little cranky if my 550 isn't driven for a couple of days

What was the temp outside?

I've had mine all torn apart and left that way for weeks and it started back just fine, no idle issues
