Since bmw headlights arent 100% sealed, they may get some moisture time to time. (This is going to be the response from your SA)

After fighting for about 2 months, they replaced mine with brand new lights, and guess what they still do fog up time to time.

Haven't experienced any headlight fogging on my 06, but does anyone know how the HPFP is holding up on the 06 (N52)?

Not an issue with the N52.... It is not a Direct injection Turbo motor. So the N54 I have yet to hear of issues with the TTv8 but that may be , since there are so few of them on the roads so far.

I just got both my headlamps replaced. Haven'y been in any rain yet, so don't know if these will get moisture inside as well. I wonder if there is any place I can apply some silicon/sealer that would prevent mositure from getting in? I know that on the very top of the headlight unit, there is a ~2" diameter "cap" that gives access to the interior of the headlight assembly (haven't really looked at what it accesses). This cap has a rubber seal/grommet on it. It's the cap where water puddles on top when you wash the car. I thought about putting a small bead around the seal/grommet. Anyway, I just thought I'd ask...because once water gets inside and leaves marks, there really is no way to get rid of the marks, so I'm just trying to prevent it before it happens. Hopefully, it won't even be an issue, but "tbal" said his new ones leaked too.

That was tied to several things....new car policy at work, also selling the 911 to get a Ferrari 360. I am abandoning the 360 search for the time being...for several reasons, so the 535i and the 911 will remain for now.

I am just trying figure out what I ca do to prevent mositure from getitng in headlights now that I have 2 new ones. Have you had any issue with yours?

Also, how is the fuel pump thing going?

No issues so far with the head light fog thing, and knock on wood , HPFP #4 has held up since Jan install. So far it only gets Shell and Mobile and Chev gas ( Top Tear...) No BP or Costco.

Big thing looming for me is Tires , RFT or non RFT . I need a new set in about a month and there is a huge price difference, vs the trade off of not having many worries about flats and Pinched Side walls ( I have had some VW's with Low profile side walls, and in Bham with the crappy roads it was about a 1 month trip to Tire engineers to get new tires or get tire re-beeded, thank you road hazard warranty ).

I would think the vents are twards the bottem or back of the clusters, but I have only pulled the bumper cover one time and did not look to see them.

You may want to ask some of the venders here that sell Mtech kits and install them. They might have a car in the shop to take a gander at and let you know. That may be your best bet, since the front bumper covers are off for that.
