Default '08 535i Jack Stand Location...??

So I used the factory jack to jack up my car (right front) at the proper jacking point...where the jack piece fits up in to the slot. The problem...there is now no place to place the jack stand. I've searched, and found most answers say "use a floor jack and then put the jack stand on the jacking points". That is not helpful...any answers of ideas on my question?

Jack the car by the front. There is a plastic jacking point between the covers under the engine.

Put jackstands on the side ones.

With a floor jack you can jack the car from the front...but not with the factory jack...which is what I'm using. You cant jack the car from the front with the factory jack.

Correct, you need a big floor jack.

I use this one, due to it being very low profile and having crazy long reach.

I though the factory jack was a jack and jack stand all in one. Most of us do use a floor jack. I use a 3 ton low profile I got from harbor freight for $90. The one above is the same one but has less tolerance and a longer reach (which I have not needed on any of my cars). They go on sell often so do not pay $140 for it. You will see bad reviews but I have had mine over 2 years. If you know how one work and can google the maintenance part then this is your option. I bought the cross beam also because I saved buying while on sale.

lol....it's very clear where to put the jack stands IF you're using a floor jack...but like I said in my original post...I'm not. Any further ideas on how to do this when the FACTORY JACK is being used in the jack points.

LOL, I think the point is, (and was gently suggested ), you need to go out and buy yourself a floor jack (or borrow one) in order to accomplish what you want.

there's the answer...I guess I will do that. Incidently...I looked at (3) Harbor Freight jacks with (3) different model #...but they all seem to be the same jack...or at least VERY similar. Anybody know the difference? Possibly, newer/older versions of the same jack?

it's the same jack, they go through different part numbers for no apparent reason.

I've seen that under there and wondered what it was for...thanks! How about the rear...where do you put the floor jack back there?
