well..
I just placed an order m-aero dynamic kit from getbmwparts.com / Jason at Tischer .
but He told me that I need pdc sensor.
They are different between m-tech pdc sensor and LCI 535i pdc sensor. is it correct??
The sensors are so pricy. 166.19/each should I have to pay sensors for around $1400 ???

so $1776 + $1400 = $3176 for upgrade 535 to m-aero dynamic ???

is there any way to use my old(535i) pdc sensor???

They don't sell m-aero kit without pdc sensor for LCI 535I. that's why I need some advise....

please any advise...
thank you

You forgot to add the cost of paint and install

I had that same problem. Here are your options:

1 - See if the body shop you plan to use can fabricate some kind of adapter. The LCI PDC sensors are smaller than the holes drilled into the new bumper. When you get the kit you will see first hand on what modifications will need to be done. The question is whether it will look good or not - it definitely won't look OEM.

2 - Buy the pre-LCI sensors (this is used on the Mtech kit) off Ebay used. When I checked they were going about $40ish a piece. If you can score a complete set then have the body shop repaint them to match. They CAN be repainted by a body shop that knows what they are doing. Only drawback here is you would have to test them before hand to make sure they work.

3 - Buy a complete set brand new. The cheapest price I found was $140 each at www.parts.com and they come paint matched (make sure you use the right part number). You can then flip the old sensors and try to get some of your money back.

Good Luck
