After replacing the brake pads and sensor, I found out that I need to reset the warning. I found several guides and video, but it doesn't work on my car!
I can't use the trip button to reset, neither can I enter the hidden menu by press the i-Drive button for 8 sec.
How the heck can I reset it?.....I'm stuck....

I have the same problem so wondered if you had solved it...
I recently replaced both front and rear pads and sensors and have a stored error code 5F13 for the rear. Idrive says my rear brake pads are -15000 miles left!

I do have carsoft ultimate home 9 but that cannot erase the code.
