Default 08 535 puddle.under.car

Well just got this has around. 100k well I found it was.low on oil and had a nice puddle under driver side around wheel area what should I look for i readalot about oil filter housing

A photo would be nice. I'd guess an oil cooler line went or something like that if you actually have a puddle. OFHG wouldn't make a puddle, just an occasional drip.

Default Leak

Well it started when I checked the oil level on the display it said.low. I added 2 1./2 qts said full again well after that I noticed a puddle about quarter qt. Not sure if its gushing because the level isnt moving now

Oil can leak from a lot of places. I'd save some time and let a mechanic diagnose it. I am lazy when it comes to going underneath the car. But if you want to, get under there and take the panels off and I'm sure you will spot the culprit.

Dude. if you are losing 2.5 qts, I would find out why before driving it....

Don't drive it if youre losing that much oil. You're going to cause more expensive damage. Take off your belly pans, get under it and look. Being where the puddle was, id assume its a oil cooler line that burst and is spraying oil over other things and is finding its way where you see the puddle. Just open your hood, add oil, start engine, and let it idle while you look for the leak. If you're loosing that much, you're bound to see it under pressure.
