08' 528i SAT Install
I have a few questions regarding the installation of a gearshift for my 08' 528i (US Spec). I have been doing quite a bit of reading and investigation into the modification, but have not seen anything specific to my make/model/chassis/etc.
1) Will the vehicle accept an SAT (Sport Automatic) gearshift ECU and hardware, considering it is not offered as a factory option?
Depending on the answer to the first question:
2) Will the SAT gearshift have the same functionality as the stock unit, without doing any modification to the vehicles control modules?
I appreciate any help in advance on the topic.
