08 528i problems plz help

Hi eveyone, recently bought a 2008 528i from auction had front end work needed to be done
wasn't letting me go into the idrive because..had many warning lights on..
ex..power steering fluid..brakes...airbag..etc.
fixed these issues
now when i turn it on stays in park Doesn't allow me to put in drive.
Could it be tranny oil (how do i check)
a sensor fuse or something else..any help will be appreciated..
