Very new to this car and I'm wondering if any Driver Education (road course) participants have a way to turn off, pull a fuse, or whatever on BMW's Dynamic Drive option? I was hoping the DTC button on the dash would do this but to no avail. I can feel it making adjustments even on interstate ramps and other places, it's taking away what I was hoping to feel in a rear wheel drive car.
Thanks for your time, Merry Christmas!

There is a way to code it out in WinKFP. Once that is done the car will act as it doesn't exist. You can also go buy the sway bars from a non-DD car if you want to completely remove it.

There is a fuse that you can pull to de-activate the dynamic drive, but the lack of sway bars really causes lean and poor handling in the curves. I think that the DTC button only de-activates the rear wheel spin and some steering response dynamics etc., which is beneficial, especially with the V8.

Well now I should say order a sway bar but my bad heart and worn underwear, I think I'll not mess with it. There is nothing like doing a 360 on the entrance ramp, at least your likely to get a spot to merge into traffic.
Thanks for the replies, my first 6spd. manual in several years as a daily driver, I'm looking forward to other information to learn from this great site. Take care in 2020
