I know I was going to order a 535i next April, but I went by a dealer who had a certified '07 550 with 12k miles. Almost fully loaded except active cruise, active steering, heads up display and rear heated seats. Inservice date of 6/06. Asking $62k but I MAY be able to get them down to the $55k area. Any quick thoughts before I go back with the wife to take a look at it? The 535 we would order would probably have very close to the same equiptment. The thing is we don't need another car till next June or July so this has to be a good deal for us to pull the trigger. Thanks

There has been a roaring debate between the 550 and 535 merits, you can search the topic using the forums search feature. I'm sure I don't have to explain my preference..... If you can get the price right. 550 all the way !!

I think 55k would be a great deal. v8 you can't go wrong and essentially you let the car take a depreciation hit by being used.

I think you will love the V8...lots of torque!! As for the 550...with it being certified, how could go wrong? Now you have an essentially new vehicle with a 100k mile warranty!!! You cant beat that!
