'07 550 Software Update?

My Ride: 550i silver gray, black leather, cold weather package, steptronic, rear side air bags, multi-contour seats, navigation, Logic 7, HUD, Sirius, HD radio

I'm patiently :'( waiting for my new 550 to arrive. It made it to the Preparation center last week and is still sitting there. When I spoke to my CA today, I was told that it was awaiting a software update that had not been done in Germany. Has anyone heard about new software updates required by the September '07's? If so do you have any details?
