07 530xi AWD PROBLEMS. Manual Transmission Car

In the process of swapping some wheels that needed powder coating i didnt realize i had 18x8 in front and 18x8.5 in rear but had a square set of tires on the car. Not really sure where to start lookig but im almost positive my transfer case is cooked or the transfer case motor went out. Ive noticed when the car sits overnight the warning lights go off but as soon as I put it in first gear it lits like a Christmas three..Car is a manual too. Been driving it like this for 2 days and it doesn't feel like there's something wrong. Which I doubt. I put back my other 18x8.5 today. Will soon park the car for the winter and go through it all. Thanks in advance for any advice and potential faults to look after.
