My Ride: 2004 BMW 530I steptronic, Orient Blue, Dakota Black Leather, Finishers Aluminium with Wave Cutting interior, NAVIgation, Radio PROFESSIONAL, CD in-dash, Hi-Fi extended sound system, PDC system, Bi-Xenons lights with washers, cruise-control, heated seats, Extended AC, auto"shade" mirrors, auto lights sensors, rain/wiper sensor, M-tech leather multifunction steering wheel, side airbags rearseats, sliding armrest, smoker's package (I don't smoke!), velour floor mats, spare wheel and jack, 122 style rims winter setup, M135 style rims summer setup

The 04's have a matte silver finish. The 06's have the shiny aluminum finish. Looks ugly if you ask me. Too bling bling.

There are two types of AC that E60 can be equipped. That standart one with black knobs and the exetdned one you have specify while ordering the car and it has the silver knobs. The extended varies in function. It has mor functions like separate temeperature for each side of the car, automatic de-fog sensor and function.... and some more which I don't remember now

The knobs for the MY05 in chrome have better feeling and less "move" than the pre MY05 ones. So it's not only look that differs, also feeling. But as said, it only comes with the compleate control unit.
