05 545i - Trouble free?

Hi - I am new to the forum as I got my 05 545i 2 months ago. I became a BMW convert ever since I got behind a friend's 02 530 and which led to me to own a 328Ci for 4 years - all trouble free !!. Now, if I can only say that about my 545i. Since getting this car, I have been to my dealer twice attempting to fix (1) the creaking door and window, (2) excessive noise from the sun roof, (3) non response of the remote key the following day, (4) rough idle/when stopping and (5) a soft clicking sound from the engine when accelerating from stationary (and only between 1000 - 1500 rpm).
So far (3) was fixed and due to unavailability of parts, (1), and (2) are to be rectified on my third visit. From this forum, I notice (4) is a common problem. So I am not raising my hopes for a solution though my dealer says it could be rectified with a software upgrade during the third visit. However the most annoying problem is the soft clicks from the engine when accelerating from a stationary position and when the rpm is between 1K - 1.5K. The dealer do not seem to have a clue what is causing the problem. Any suggestions is appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum chosun81
No car is trouble free.
Take your time and Search this site.
One could actually make a Ph on the E60, based on the info/facts on this site

+1, especially BMW's.
Please, don't be that negative without argumentation.
The E60, as all BMW's, are highly innovative cars and trend setters for the industry.
My experience, in over 3 decades and 13 personally owned and paid for BMW's,
is overall very positive.

Argumentation? I fix BMW's everyday for a living. I can tell you, guys I know that work for Toyota and Honda never have to deal with some of the stuff BMW techs see as common problems. But is a Bimmer more fun to drive then those two? Hell yeah.
