Ok so I just got a 04 545i sport package with 68K miles and the dynamic malfunction is appearing as well. when I check details it says that the active roll didn't adjust or something like that. Also i notice that when i drive the car pulls a little to the left and i have to have the wheel to the right to compensate. what you guys think. Im new to bmw's but not new to cars. Yea i know the dealer should look at it but i got it for a good price and it was sold as is contract and got it knowing this issue already.

Wow no replies yet. Maybe i signed up for the wrong forum.

I have not experienced this personally, but the steering issue might be due to battery disconnect and not resetting the steering system properly. You should have gotten an Active Steering warning at some point. I think the fix is to turn the steering wheel from lock to lock, then shutoff and restart. Search under battery for a better explanation.

Also, for active steering/active roll stabilization issues, you should check your power steering/hydraulic fluid level. The cap says CHF-11S only, and is in the front, left side of engine bay behind the engine coolant tank.
