Default 04 545 with 50k miles is stuttering - help!

Almost like it has hick-ups.

Really odd - it won't happen when I let off the gas...It also shifts just fine - as normal.

But, while I'm accelerating (doesn't really matter at what speed; 20-75 so far) it almost feels like someone's tapping on on the break - very noticeably!

Any ideas what is causing this?

Thanks for the advice!

It could be a bad ignition coil or fuel injector?

In any case, good luck, man!

Thanks for the advice buddy.

I tried the 25 sec reset, but it didn't work

I'll be taking the girl to checkpoint next week for a look.

I had an issue like that, turned out to be a battery. Whenever I accelerated the car slams like someone stepped on the brakes. I changed the battery after reading a few posts and that was it. Check the voltage of your battery with the car on and off, should be about 11v off and about 13.5-14 on.

Could be coils. Pull the code, and if it's coils, it'll tell you which one to change out.

I took it to Checkpoint today and they couldn't find any faults or anything wrong with her when they ran the diagnostics?

I'm back to square one! Very frustrating =/

They said maybe it could be the back pressure in my exhaust system?

Not sure what else to do?
