03 m5 vs. 04 545

raced a m5 a few weeks ago. i had 4 big guys including myself in my car. i held up pretty well and passed him because he let of the gas a little before the exit off the interstate. but if he had gone full throttle i would have been smoked. i hope to see him again on the road when i have no one in my car and i can shift into sports mode

You'll just get walked if its a real race and both cars are up to spec. If he's got 3 big friends in the car with him though, you'll be close.

As the current owner of both cars, I can attest that the M5 will win easily without trying. The 545 is a great car with all the latest and greatest bells and whistles, but the M5's S62 engine is a beast. Its not even close.
