The Williams dealership is generally VERY POOR in my experience. Used a few of their branches but mainly Manchester. They are incompetent at best, but are also ignorant & couldn't careless. They have caused damage (mainly scratches) on virtually every visit for service / warranty work. I currently have some 'credit' remaining that they offered as a good will gesture (I bought the car new from them last new last April). Once this is used I will be off elsewhere - maybe give David Holmes of Stockport a try I reckon. Not heard a lot about them.

Guess I don't have a lot of faith in their ability or attitude to solving issues for customers. When I told the dealer principle this he had the cheek to say that they could't be that bad as they wouldn't have any customers left! Great response to a VERY DISATISFIED customer that had just spent the best part of ?40k on a car!

My car came back with a paint chip out of the back door. I clean my car every weekend by hand (sad i know) and i know every mark on it but what can i do when it was noticed on the technicians inspection sheet. Or may be it had been damaged in the carpark !
The problem is i think, BMW have been too succesful and that personal touch has now gone.
We also have a Renault and the difference in customer service is simply miles apart, Renault simply fall over themselves trying to help and ensure you are happy, i have even had a call from Renault UK to check if i have any problems with my local dealer.
