**!JUST HAD THE WORST DRIVING EXPERIENCE!!

Okay guys i just had by farr the worsssssssssttttttttttt driving experience today (and ive done some stupidd things before)......
My buddy was driving my car today he was in DS and going pretty fast, the lights turned red so he stopped really quickly, while stopping the car sort of jerked and stalled (like a standard car does). We just assumed that it was because of the quick stop we had made but literally 15 minutes later when he was in M mode he was in 2nd i believe and we were at about 30 KM coming to a complete stop when it jus revved up again and almost when into the back of a van, luckily i threw it into Neutral before it did that...........
WHHHHHHHATTT is going on??? no error msg is coming up in the Idrive ... i hav a 04 530i. Ive neverrrrrrr had a problem and i drive it pretty rough sometimes. After that i just drove home in D carefully and no problems..
I know its easy to assum maybe my buddy ddint know what he was doing but he has a audi and is familiar with the steptronic sort of tranny.
Whats going on?? am i going to hav to regret buyin this thing??

Drive the car yourself. Make some stops. If you have no trouble, your friend was hitting the gas with his foot at the same time he was braking.

no i dont think it was that b/c he drives my car very often and we've never realli seen a problem. Like i boughti t say a month and a half ago, if not hes driven 10ish times........... he wants one himself so whenever i come in the e60 he always inssits on driving. Also, after the first jerk from the speeding stop, he was driving extra cautiously so its like??

I've heard of broken motor mounts causing that problem years ago on Chevys.
