Well, heres what happened. I first had a big mark which was my fault because while backing off, i kind of had the exterior scratched from the front of the jeep parked behind the garage, it left a big mark+scratches which wouldnt go away after even 5 car washes. Today i noticed TONS of key scratches at the back of the car, Was i pissed! took it to a car wash hoping it will go away but as usual it didnt. I started rubbing the surface that was scratched and it started going away, then i got a dry cloth and rubbed it over the whole exterior where the scratches were from my mistake and over the key scratches. IT WAS ALL GONE! And i believe its all because of the paint protection that saved me Tons of $$$! So i really recommend that any future E60 Owner to get the paint protection because it REALLY is worth it.

Is this a treatment that the dealer applies, or is it something that is done at the factory?

My local delaer offers Supagard treatment of the interior and exterior.

Actually im not really certain about that, because when we were making the purchase of the car, the salesman as usual offers the Boomerang system+Paint Protection+The Bra for the car, thats where i signed up for all three. Since ill be visiting the dealer soon i will ask and post the information once i have it.
