The passenger side was replaced with a European based OEM supplier of CV half shaft about 2,500 miles ago. The bellows are perfect and it looks like a BMW part. The Drivers side GKN part has not ruptured YET and it looks like crap. The GKN bellows are puckered and jagged while being extended. Furthermore, there are half or less of bellows on the GKN CV-shaft compared to the passenger side part. The Passenger side shaft looks great and appears like it is good for another 170,000 miles.

I am done with GKN unless I am need aviation parts for my airliner. GKN keeps us free and safe in the air every day of the year in aviation. CV- Drive shafts are not their strength.
