Keep it Vlad! While I do love my M3 I still miss my '08 550... It was a great car!! I would have bought it at the end if the lease but BMW would not budge on the residual and the market value was well below the residual. Had to walk away...

+1. I'm a bit sad that I just bought a 2010 528i. Its the last year e60s were made and probably the last one I will own. Maybe I will keep it until the next body style comes out.

Better yet, move to SoCal, then get rid of the 530 and get an M5

Vlad, I'm right there with you. Moved from my '07 530xi to '13 535xDrive last December.
These are very different cars. my 535xDrive feels more like one of my last 7 series - but a lot more 'complicated'. I'm not sure even the M Sport option (which I did not get) makes it "tossable".

That said, the '13 5'er is a very capable cruiser - even if it feels large when driving around town. However, in retrospect, the current 3 series could have worked for my transition to a new car. But, I always thought of the 3 as an entry-level BMW (even when optioned up @ $50k++) And to be candid, I'm just not personally suited to an "M3" or an M5 - though I was really really close last year to closing a deal on a Lime Rock edition M3.

Oh well - time to get some sun and (finally) dropping the top on the Roadster for the Summer

Took in my E60 for service and received a 2013 328i for a loaner. It was pretty snappy for a 4 cylinder turbo, kind of reminded me of my gti. But I did not care for the car at all. It felt cheap to me and I couldn't wait to get my car back. I'm actually glad I bought my CPO E60 over a 2013 335 m sport a couple months ago. Saving up for my next car. A cpo M6 gran coupe might be in the near future for me

John, SoCal is in the cards. Looking for work out there now, but I haven't met a recruiter, who'd be willing to work with me out there. Yet

Lui! I thought you had an F30 on order?! Still, having driven the '13 535 and the '13 335, I have to say I'd pick the 5er. 335 has lots of power, but the chassis feels way too nervous, while steering is completely uncommunicative - dangerous combo for someone like myself! Oh, and the way I had the 335 optioned out, it came to well over 60k - ridiculous.

Me? I think I'll end up holding on to the 5er after all. Of all the bimmers available now, the one I would really like is the 650 gran coupe and the new M5. Alpina B7 is also awesome. But these are all out of reach for me. Maybe in a while I'll check out some CPO E92 M3s...

PS shockingly!!! I could NOT find any F10 535's with RWD in the area! And none at all with the adaptive suspension. That essentially ended my journeys to BMW dealerships - other than for parts, because you know I only use oem stuff

Three cars I liked the most, in descending order: Jag XF Supercharged (5.0 RWD), Audi A7 Prestige Sport pk, Lexus GS. All of these were more capable than the F10s and F30s I've driven (except Scott's F10 550 xdrive M Sport with the Dinan suspension and stage 2 - that thing is the real deal!!!)

Quick Reply: ****!!! I cannot get rid of this car!
