My Ride: 2004 - 530i Sport, Auto, Alpine White, Dark Poplar, Beige Dakota w/ Comfort Seats, Cold Weather Package (yeah I know I live in SC, but I love it on my back after a long day of golf), Logic 7, Parking Assist, & Auto Sunshade.
I have always kind of laughed about this thread because I see probably 15 e60's a day around here.
I realize that Greenville, SC has probably the highest per capita ownership of BMW's in this country with the factory being here there are just a ton of them on the streets. But is it really that rare that in most parts of the country or world that seeing a fellow e60 driver is a rare enough occurance to warrent a post.
Having said that I did purposely park next to a nice 545i that looked to be roughly a 2004-2006 vintage. Silver with fairly dark tinted windows. I figured I had a fellow person who cared about his car on at least one side of me when it comes to door dings.
Of more interest or importance I did have a very interesting siteing today. Driving back from Charlotte, NC to Greenville I came up behind an X5 M. At first I thought someone was just a poser since I know they existed yet. But as I got closer they had the ever familiar South Carolina "Manufacturer" licence plate on it. Those of us here in the Upstate of SC are very familiar as any BMW owned car from the factory usually sports those plates. Some of my neighbors who work at the factory will drive a car with "Manufacturer's" plates on them when they get a car through the company.
I took a couple of pictures as best as I could with my camera phone, while I was driving. I am not exactly sure where to post this info. But if and when I figure out how to post some pics from my phone on here I will do so in a separate thread.

Black pre-LCI M5 with Hamann Edition Race wheels
Sorry no pic, was going the opposite direction of the intersection and did not want to pull out my phone with the police car next to me
***Nice wheels
seeing a lot more e60's around here now, both pre-lci and LCI...nothing mod'd tho...
