It came off of my 1998 540, when was the last year these wheels came standard, if they were standard at all. Come to think of it I bought it used and don't know for sure if this wheel was factory or option?

What kind of a video was that? I prefer jet black over silver any day.

So do you guys know when the last year was that the wheel was offered in dealerships? 2001-ish?

 

My mom has those wheels on her '01 525i. I don't know if that's the last year or not...

Don't know the exact last year as well, but I believe these were also standard on '00 528i / Sport Package. 99.9% sure these are BBS rims.

 

Those were the stock rims on the E39 but not a 1998MY. My '98 E39 had wheels like the pic below (not my actual car...)

The more common version of those rims came optional with the sport package on the E39. It was also available for the E36 M3. So, the last years of those models would most likely be the last year for the wheels, too.
