Hello everyone,

I am new here, i have a 1998 528i (Has some kind of sports pack aswell) and i am looking to lower it to improve the asthetic appearance of it. I am in australia and went to a regular suspension place and they said it would cost a total of $1000AUD to do it. Is this about right?, and what would be the best way to lower it? I just want to bring it down about an inch so the wheels completley fill the wheel arches, but i dont really want to ruin the driving characteristics of the car.

I would appreciate anything anyone has to say on this issue!

thanks

For what you're looking to do, a set of upgraded shocks and springs would fit the bill quite nicely.

The H&R Sport Springs are a popular choice for owners looking for a slight drop without too harsh of a spring rate. They do pair nicely with Koni shocks as well in my personal experience.
