Lets be honest guys 100mph is hardly reckless driving in a modern bmw, let alone an m car. Not saying its safe, prudent etc etc but how many of you know how easy it is go get to 90-100 on a highway while passing etc. Let alone night with no other cars, no power or other indicators of speed-bimmers are so steady without those guides you cannot tell you are going that fast. Just saying

Very sad both for the loss of the guy and car. I gotta admit, accidents can happen just like that. I was cruising down the freeway at maybe 85 mph and all of a sudden a dog just appeared out of nowhere in my lane and I had to swear literally into the next lane. If a car was there, it would have been quite an accident. If i ran into the dog, pretty much would have destroyed the front of my 5er. BMWs are safe cars, so high speed is a bit exaggerated imo.
