+1. The saddest dayin my car ownership experience was the day in 2006 when I turned in my Titanium Silver 2003 540i Sport (which had the M Tech kit, M Parallel wheels and the big single exhaust). The beauty in this thread brings back some great memories of that car, which was my first BMW.

If you loved it that much and it was the saddest day of your car ownership experience to let it go, then you could have find ways to keep it. Buy an ext warranty and spend some time keeping the car pristine. Basically, I'm sure you had options if it meant that much to you.
