Hi everyone.
I've not long bought a 523 SE E39 1998 M Sport 106,000
I have a monotonous noise coming from the front which gets louder round bends.Changes with wheel speed,I can notice most when coasting.
I took a mechanic out to listen and I couldn't make it do it,so I'm guessing weight in the passenger side makes a difference.
I originally thought bearings as it sounds very similar but without the grinding but I couldn't wobble wheel at all so they seem ok.Has good front brakes.
Car would be so quiet without it I really need to find out what it is.Any suggestions please?
It's not that loud ,like I said wheel bearing knocking is the closest noise that sounds similar.I've checked wheels to make sure they are tightened up aswell.Could wheels not being balanced make that noise?I could get it checked I think they do it free at Halfords.

Thankyou
