E39 Speedo Cluster Needle Removal
 

Anyone do this daunting task? I need to change my Pixel silver ape and I cant get to it without getting the needles off...if I pull straight up, I tweak the springs....anyone???anyone???:please:

you may have pulled the needle gears out of alignment. open it back up and take a look at the little "box" where you snap on the needle. You might need to pry it open and help the gears back into position

Ha! I was responding to a front page cluster needle issue. Must have done a mis click somewhere and hit one of the "related" posts at the bottom of the page.
