E39 530i leaking oil

Hi Guys, my 530i E39 has been leaking oil for quite some time now. I've replaced the oil filter gasket housing, including CCV valves and all pipes, new valve cover gasket. I still get drops of oil once I've parked the car and this is weeks after I've done all of the work so it could not be residue.

Just to inform you I have to replace my intake manifold gasket as I have some slight rough idling in the morning for +- 20 -30seconds. Could oil seep through the leaking intake manifold gasket and contribute to my findings?

Thank you so much

Take a mirror and look at the back of the filter housing itself. There are two plugs installed after the housing has been cast (the plugs face towards the rear of the car). These freeze plugs, after a while, tend to start leaking.

If it is the filter housing itself, just buy new. I wasted a ton of time trying to block the leak.
