Hi, I am still fairly new to the car world, and even newer to the bmw scene. my previous cars have been a 2.5l 2011 Jetta, and a 2.0t 2009 gti from Volkswagen, however I've found myself in a position of needing a car, and manual bmw wagons have caught my eye. I've seen a few 2000-2003 manual wagons for sale, but I don't know the first thing about them. They seem very reliable, especially because it is naturally aspirated. So I guess, my point is, what is some major services that I need to look for if I purchase one of these that has 200k miles, I've heard of vanos, but I need to learn more about it. I also know there aren't too many mods out there because it is a naturally aspirated engine, so a tune won't do me too much good. thanks
