Bucket of Bolts

We bought our 2000 528i manual over a year ago from the original owner. Guy was in his late 70s and we basically stole the thing....well now sittimg at 211546 miles what we saved on sales price we have poured into maintenance. The ac and heat stopped working about 3 months into owning it, can't figure out why, have replace the fan clutch, the whole cooling system including the water pump which was just replaced before we bought it (old guy had the receipts and all original paper work from Germany including the cassette tape) now to say the least it wasn't in the best condition when we got it but it feels as if ALL the "general maintenance" is being required all at once, the window motors all went on the same day, the back mirror works when it wants to, it had leaked oil since the day we got it and can't figure out from where, the gas gage is sometime accurate, trunk latch sensor sometimes works even tho it's obviously closed and latched, headlight adjustment bolts were stripped (now ziptied into place, can see much better) nd thenkey fob works when it wants to (bonus we did get a valet key not too shabby) 🤦🏽‍♀️that's not even all this thing is a mechanics dream (lucky I'm married to one) but fr why is it all happening at once.... got to say the damn thing runs like a scolded dog. Cool thing is most the parts we have replace have been original manufacturers parts, so way to go to be 24 years old and plastic. Even had an original spark plug stuck in it.
