Any one of those sensors being faulty would have thrown a code. What code reader are you using?

Basic, cheap one.

Basic one will not show BMW codes, buy a BMW code reader, they have them for as low as $45. Its worth it to save you a whole lot of guesswork.

Depends on how much you want to pay. I've owned a few different ones.

I'm thinking $100.00 to $150.00?? It is a 21 year old car. I like it , but there is the age old question "What point do I cut my losses?" I would love to fix it if it makes sense. Thanks for your help!!

Buying a BMW code reader won't make you a mechanic. I'd suggest you go to a BMW specialist and have them tell you ALL that is going on, and then you can make a decision to throw in the towel or not.

Well, Thanks for your help. Not worth the tow and the diagnostic. Just trying to learn something and I guess I did.
