Hi Everyone. I have a 1990 535iA . The lights on the dashboard have burned out. Can anyone tell me how to replace these. I don't have a tilt wheel or a telescoping wheel.Not sure how to do this.

Also, the orginial radio works fine, but the area where the station numbers show up is now burned out. Any suggestions?

You need go to BMW dealer first to purchase a set of instrument bulbs which they can identify from their viewer of your car. May have stock or order. They were 2 different sizes of capless type (well in the sense that they didn't have metal bases).

Remove two screws from top of perspex screen of cluster and tilt out carefully through steering wheel. Be careful where the resetting knobs come through the perspex not to cause damage. Unplug cables if necessary. You will then see the bulbs in the rear circuit board and replace like for like. This I did about 6 years ago when I had an E34 1996 V8 530i.
